The first floor is the hub of activity. The first area you encounter is the materials return and self-checkout area. A separate photocopy room also houses a public fax machine and copy machines for our customers’ convenience. Our  A/V room holds a myriad of wonders from books on CD and downloadable media, to electronic devices, to a huge classical and contemporary music collection.

The teen room offers a teen collection including popular fiction and nonfiction, plus anime and graphic novels.

The first thing to welcome a toddler into the children’s area is a colorful floor-to-ceiling round mural of the book cover of Good Night Moon and other long-loved titles in children’s literature. The collection includes a wide variety of age-appropriate books, DVDs, and Playaway devices that tickle the child’s imagination and help them to develop a love of reading.

The second floor houses the Adult Magazines, Fiction, and Non-fiction. Browse our collections and find books curated by our Adult Services staff on the displays. Our Adult Services staff is here to help with your reference needs.

And across the street is The Heights Knowledge and Innovation Center, or HKIC,  a flexible 4,000-square-foot space designed to support the technological and workspace needs of local businesses, nonprofits, and individuals.
