The Heights Knowledge and Innovation Center, or HKIC, is a flexible 4,000-square-foot space at the Lee Road branch of Heights Libraries. It is designed to support the technological and workspace needs of local businesses, nonprofits, and individuals.

The HKIC features:
- An improved computer lab with 12 roomy work stations and computers (10 PCs and 2 Macs) featuring Microsoft Office software
- Expanded wireless access in the HKIC Wi-Fi lounge area
- A Digital Media Lab
- A production work area and office supplies such as a copier, printer, scanner, and fax machine
- Two small meeting rooms/study rooms with projection screens designed to accommodate laptops and other electronics
